Getting-ready mornings
Three full bathrooms, two of them in the Main House, keep a wedding morning on schedule. The dining room's large round table and bay windows give hair and makeup a working surface with natural light, and the living room's fireplace wall is where most groups end up for photos.
The Cottage functions as a second suite — useful when the couple wants separate space, or when parents and grandparents want somewhere quieter than the middle of it all.
A house, not a venue
To be clear about what the Wremy is: a vacation rental that hosts wedding-party stays, bridal showers, rehearsal gatherings and day-after brunches for up to 20 people. It is not a standalone ceremony or reception venue with a coordinator and a rental inventory. Guests bring their own plan and we keep the house out of the way of it.
Feeding the group
The Main House has a full gas range and oven, a dining room for six to eight and a breakfast bar for three. The Cottage adds a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and cooktop. Outside, the lower deck has a dining table for six, a covered patio with rocking chairs, and a gas-assisted charcoal grill.
Close to everything the weekend needs
Five blocks north of Main Street and under two miles from Mississippi State, so downtown venues, the Cotton District, florists and restaurants are all minutes away. Free off-street parking on site and keyless entry make late nights and early vendor arrivals painless.

- The property accommodates gatherings of up to 20 people, and sleeps up to 14 overnight across the Main House and Cottage.
- Is this a wedding venue?
- No — the Wremy is a vacation rental that comfortably hosts wedding-party stays, getting-ready mornings, bridal showers and rehearsal gatherings. It is not a standalone ceremony or reception venue.
- Is there good light for getting-ready photos?
- The Main House living and dining rooms have large windows and bay windows, and the deck and back yard are shaded by mature trees. Photographers generally work in the dining room in the morning.
- Can we bring in food or a caterer?
- Guests regularly bring in food and use the full gas kitchen and the deck. For anything involving outside vendors or a larger group, contact us first so we can confirm details for your date.
- Can the wedding party stay two nights?
- Yes — most wedding-party bookings are two or three nights covering the rehearsal, the wedding day and the morning after.
